Afternoon Three Course Tea
Indulge in one of Newport Beach’s grandest traditions~ Afternoon Tea at Teddy Bears & Tea Cups on Balboa Island! For nearly a decade, the delightful tea and party room has played host to England’s most beloved ritual~ the taking of Afternoon Tea.
The owner and pastry chef works her magic ensuring an authentic and memorable experience from your very first sip of tea. After selecting from our list of dozens of varieties of teas, you will be treated to our freshly baked, homemade scones, Devonshire cream and preserves. Delicious tea sandwiches, berries and dessert are presented tableside in the enchanted tea room. Afternoon Tea is an absolute “must do” for all who visit Balboa Island- children are welcome, but not required! Adults and children alike will love their fanciful plates filled with delicacies.
Our daily sandwich selections may include, but are not limited to our signature Fruited, Cashew Chicken Salad Sandwich, Tomato-Basil, Cucumber-Dill or Traditional Egg Salad Sandwich- all served with the best fresh berries of the day. For our younger guests, we do hope they fall in love with the tea tradition so we serve them child friendly sandwiches such as Peanut Butter & Jelly, Turkey, Cheese or Egg Salad along with fresh fruit.
